How we work
Initial Consultation
We meet with you to gather all the info about your project to ensure it's success (including your goals, budget, timeline, etc.). If you decide to proceed, we'll start once we recieve your initial design fee.*
Customized Mock-ups
After researching and creating design concepts for your space, we'll pull together a few of our best ideas.We'll create a professional mock-up to give you a clear picture of what we're envisioning. See some of our previous mockups.
Once that you've had a chance to review the ideas you can decide if we're moving in the right direction. If you're not happy, we'll continue until you are.
Product and Vendor Research
We scour though catalogs and websites to find you the best products that will make your chosen design come alive. Then we will draw up a comparison proposal that shows the MSRP so you can see your savings. The final choices are yours.
Order Facilitation
After your order has been placed we will monitor it through the manufacturing process. We will regularly keep you informed of expected ship dates. We won't make excuses if there is a manufacturer issue that causes a delay. Sometimes things are out of our control, but we will let you know as soon as we know if there is a problem.
Delivery Coordination and Basic Staging
We'll coordinate a delivery date that works with your schedule. If you choose, the designer can be present for the installation.
Have a limited budget?
Then our “Refresh” design service may be perfect for you. We use furniture and household items you already have, but use them to design a room that fits your current style and needs. We pick out paint colors, draw furniture layouts to give you an idea of what the room will look like when it’s finished. This is ideal for those who are do-it-yourself-ers, but want direction. The transformations are remarkable and well worth the small investment. The design fee for the Refresh service is one half of the full room design fee. The Design Fee does not include:
• Sales Tax
• Shipping/Delivery, Handling, Postage
• Out of pocket expenses: Courier charges, Undue postage and Blueprints (if necessary)
• Installation Fees
* The initial design fee is half of the full design fee. This covers meeting with your interior designer, the design concept and material selection, and a design mockup for each room.
If during the course of the design process, your design needs change from that of the design brief, an additional fee may be charged to cover the extra time necessary to incorporate these changes.
